INVESTMENT

If I am hired to be a member of your birth team, I will provide a minimum of two prenatal visits; three visits are preferred, however. These are usually done in the last trimester so the information is fresh when it is time for the baby to be born. Our prenatal visits will include going over your personalized birth plan, physical touch (with essential oils if requested) to build a relationship of communication, connection & trust; practicing positioning, counter pressure and other such skills that will be used during your labor. I am on call for you 24/7 starting at 37 weeks. Once I arrive at your birth, you will have my continuous support during your labor, delivery and about an hour following the baby's arrival.  It is customary to secure my services by a deposit of 50% of the total upon the signing of a birth doula contract, with the rest of the payment due by the date of the post--partum follow up visit.  Venmo is convenient @Amanda-Griffith-1, or a cashiers check from the bank, or cash.  Personal checks are not accepted. One post-partum visit will be included in this base rate, along with a post-partum gift package. Other post-partum services for emotional support, housekeeping, laundry, etc., can be hired at an hourly rate of $25 per hour.

Last minute call outs for a birth who has not been a contracted client will be considered on a case by case basis, dependent upon my availability at the time. Pricing would be adjusted accordingly, and the same awesome support will be given. Details will be explained should the need for last minute birth support arise.
